The firm is looking for a individual to work covering Execution for fixed income clients. The role is in a fast paced environment and will suit a self-starter who is comfortable and can work autonomously as and when required.
Products covered:
Interest Rate Swaps Derivatives
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· To be able to work in a Sales and Trading desk environment
· Providing coverage for hedge funds and real money clients.
· Providing a full added-value execution and advisory service.
· Using several trading platforms.
· Monitoring client positions.
· Distribution of appropriate flow information and idea generation.
· Working with existing clients, looking to constantly improve their service solutions.
· Assist with the introduction of new customers.
· Managing execution risk and quality of service offered to client.
· Looking for the best solution for the client where necessary and working with other teams internally in order to achieve this.
· Working on a Trading desk.
· Providing a full added-value execution and advisory service.
· Degree-educated
· Experience in Financial Services Products, specifically Rates
· Exposure to a broking environment (preferable not mandated)
· Problem solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to construct mathematical formulas.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong team player.
· Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
· Self Starter
· Strong client facing skills.
